WELCOME TO ST ANTHONY'S CATHOLIC PRIMARY SCHOOL

Our school is a well-established Catholic Primary school that has welcomed families from East Dulwich and surrounding parishes since it was originally founded in 1883.

We are a happy and successful school that is ambitious for each and every child; ensuring that they grow socially, emotionally and academically from their starting points.  The children tell us that they love to be here and we are very proud of them and their achievements. Ensuring each child belongs, thrives and achieves are at the heart of all we do.

Key to our school’s success is our partnership with parents and carers.  A warm welcome, a listening ear and open-door approach ensures that children feel happy and can achieve.

Our school is a bright, modern and vibrant learning environment with spaces for outdoor learning and play. We are conveniently located on Barry Road, enabling us easy access to the wonderful resources in our local community as well as the excellent transport links to London.

At St Anthony’s we provide children with a range of experiences to enable them to explore and develop a life-long love for learning. Music, the arts and sport are an important part of our school and we seek to inspire children to try new activities as well as celebrate achievements both in school and beyond.

We are committed to nurturing the children and ensuring that they develop an understanding of their role and responsibilities within the school and the wider community. Behaviour is exemplary at St Anthony’s yet we continue to strive for the children to develop even further; developing their values and skills to enable them to thrive.  These opportunities include St Anthony's being an OPAL (Outside Play And Learning) school, where we have invested and worked with the OPAL charity to provide every child with rich opportunities to be creative, collaborative and active in their outdoor play, in environments that are safe enough for 'health and safety' but challenging enough for children's ongoing development.

We are a warm and welcoming school and ask prospective families to click on our ‘Admissions’ tab for further information.

I look forward to meeting with you.
