Academy Consultation
Thank you to everyone who has shared views and questions on our proposal to establish and join the St Benedict Catholic Academy Trust.
Our consultation period ran from 11th September until 23rd October 2023 and is now closed.
On behalf of all the governors, we would like to thank all the parents and carers, staff, students and members of our wider community who took the time to write in with comments and questions about our proposal and to all those who attended our meetings to discuss it further with us.
We have carefully reviewed all responses to our consultation which were presented to the governing body in a summary report on 7 November. The governors have agreed to progress with our full application to become an academy and join the St Benedict Catholic Academy Trust.
The Governing body remain clear that preserving the individual character of St Anthony’s Catholic School will always be a priority. We are confident that joining St Benedict CAT will allow us to stay in control of our own destiny by being central to the founding design and vision.
