On behalf of our whole school community, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to

St. Anthony’s School website!

I hope that you will find your visit interesting and informative.

St Anthony’s is a happy, successful and, we hope, exciting school serving the Roman Catholic community of East Dulwich and neighbouring parishes.

Our children tell us that they love to be here and we are very proud of them and of their achievements. We aim to provide an environment where our children can learn to love learning and prepare themselves for the skills they will need for a 21st Century world.

As you travel through the site you will get a flavour of our school and the very many activities available for our children. In addition to images of our new school buildings, the pictures above show our children celebrating their First Holy Communion, visiting The Shard, welcoming friends on their annual visit from Wayo School (Japan), at drama (Year Five performing 'Olivia'), welcoming Eva Schloss, United Nations Ambassador for peace and, we are proud to say, a great friend of our school. There are also images of our wonderful Mass, with Bishop Patrick Lynch, of Thanksgiving and Rededication to the service of Jesus Christ in our East Dulwich Community.

More pictures, including 'visits to classes' and pictures of our annual School Journeys to France (Year Five) and Holland (Year Six) may be seen  in our 'Photo Gallery'.

During the coming months we will be adding more and more curriculum and other information to inform parents and to assist and challenge children to continue their learning away from school.

Key to our school’s success is our partnership with parents with whom we share responsibility for the children's education. We look forward to meeting new parents who are considering making an application to St Anthony’s so that you can see our bright new school buildings and our wonderful children for yourselves.

Dates for parents' visits are shown in our 'Calendar'. Please select a date that is convenient and make an appointment by calling the school office. For information about the Admissions process please use the link (above) to 'Prospectus'.

I have had the immense privilege of being headteacher of this wonderful school for seventeen years but I shall be retiring at the end of the present school year.

The  Governing Body has appointed Mrs Jane Day as headteacher to lead the school from September.
